How much do your courses cost?

A single licence for our online courses varies in price - from £69 (+ vat) to £89 (+ vat). However, discounts are available for bulk course purchases.

How do I take a course?

You will have set up a password as part of the purchasing process. Once you log in using your user name (email) and password, you will see a list of the licences you have bought. Click [Course] and you will start at page 1.

Are there any special requirements for taking a course?

No. Although many of our courses deal with quite complex subjects, we purposely keep the use of difficult terminology to a minimum and explain any terms that the reader may find unfamiliar.

The online courses are aimed at anyone requiring a thorough understanding of key areas within pharmaceuticals and are also suitable for those looking for a refresher course to update previous clinical training. Our courses are adapted to the needs of organisations wishing to purchase multiple licences for their employees. A nominated administrator within the organization is able to control the allocation of licences, track user progress, access trainee certificates and generate group statistics via a comprehensive administration panel.

How long do your courses take?

As a rough guide, it takes an average of one hour per CPD point to complete each course, for example, 4 CPD points indicates 4 hours of study time. However, the pace is dictated entirely by the user and those with an existing knowledge of the subject area may complete the course more quickly.

If I fail the exam, how many times can I re-take it?

There is no limit. You can sit an exam as many times as necessary until you achieve an 80% pass rate within 6 months of accessing your licence.

Are the courses and certificates accredited/recognized?

Most of our courses all carry CPD points that have been awarded by The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom. These can be used to count towards the distance learning element of any scheme that comes under the umbrella of The Academy of Medical Royal Colleges or any other scheme for which there is mutual recognition. In addition, the GCP courses meet the standards for investigator training as laid down by TransCelerate.

How will I get my certificate?

Once you have acheived the necessary pass mark, you will be able to immediately download or print your personalised certificate. You may print more than one copy if you wish.

How can I pay?

We accept the following cards: Visa Debit, Visa Credit, Maestro, Mastercard and Solo and payment is processed through Sagepay. The easiest way for an individual to buy a single licence is to visit the ‘Our Courses’ page, choose the course that suits you, proceed to your basket and then checkout online by completing the credit/debit card payment details.

• a. If you wish to purchase multiple courses for yourself to complete then please continue to add courses to your basket and purchase online as normal.

• b. If you wish to buy less than 20 licences to distribute to others then please continue to add courses to your basket and purchase online as normal. You will be prompted to become a manager later on in the process where you will be allowed access to a managers admin rights. Please see here for more benefits of multi-license purchases.

I have forgotten my password – how can I log in?

Under the space to enter your password is a link entitled “Forgotten Password.” Once you click this link, you will be asked to input your email address – please note that you must use the same email address that you used when you set up your account. You will receive an email with a link to reset you password. Click the link and you will be asked to set a new password. You will need to enter it twice to ensure there are no mistakes.

I have lost my certificate – how can I print out another copy?

When you log into your Trainee account, you will see a [Certificate] button next to every course where you have passed the exam. Just click this button to get a copy of your certificate.

I have tried to invite a Manager or Trainee but the email is being blocked by our firewall – what can I do?

Sometimes the email is blocked for security reasons and checking the spam folder may be sufficient. An alternative is to send the invite to your email address instead of the one belonging to the person you wish to invite. You will receive their invite and you can simply forward it to them.

I have tried to invite a Manager or Trainee but they have not accepted yet – is there anything I can do to speed things up?

You can send an email to remind them to accept the invite using the [Email Trainee] or [Email Manager] button on your Licensing Management screen. For more information please consult our Step-by-step user guides.

I have seen something I don’t agree with in one of your courses – what should I do?

All of our courses are thoroughly checked before publication and have been written by industry experts. But even with this amount of care, mistakes can occasionally happen. The beauty of our online courses is that if you do alert our Helpdesk to a mistake, we can usually correct it and upload the revised course within 24 hours.
