Whitehall Training's sister ethics approvals product, EthicsRM, has just shared two ethics approvals forms, which are from an actual implementation of the software at King's College, London.
These forms are smart forms, which enable different workflows based on answers to key questions, saving administration time and effort. For example, the two forms made available were designed around King’s College’s need for different approaches to be followed depending on whether the research was of a low-risk or a high-risk type.
Applications are then automatically routed to relevant committees; in this case, low-risk applications (not requiring full committee approval) and high-risk applications (requiring full committee scrutiny).
The forms in EthicsRM are fully configurable by users, giving them a great degree of flexibility and the ability to tailor the application to suit their particular needs.
